Welcome to Yirgalem Poly Technic college website page. Yirgalem Poly technic college is located in Ethiopia, Sidama regional state central Sidama zone beautiful city of Yirgalem town and 47kms far from Hawassa town.
Yirgalem Poly Technic college has been delivering several services for many citizens since its establishment from 1994 E.C. From those services, Regular, Short term trainings and Industry extension services for small and micro enterprises are some of them. Now a days the college is working based on a new Ethiopian TVT policy and zoning and differentiation in eight (8) regular training sectors or departments and many kinds of short term trainings has been also delivering. Those trained and skilled manpower has been delivering for those industries which is found in Yirgalem Integrated Agro industrial park and for industries which is found in the region as well as in the country.
Yirgalem Poly Technic college has a clear goal and plan to fulfill a remaining an infrastructure and a technologies which is necessary and have an important role at this time more than the college have now and the college is trying to fulfill its responsibility by cooperating and strengthening the linkage with stakeholders.
The other important point that our college has been doing is increasing the internal revenue by maximizing internal income generation capacity in order to serve the society in a better ways and to overcome the limitations of public budget.
